e all tend to recognise when we need help with reading. We head off to the optometrist and have our reading prescription measured and filled. This works perfectly for a while and no more small print gets by us!
As time goes on, our glasses no longer seem to be working as effectively and the prescription must be strengthened to allow us to read comfortably at arm’s length.
When this happens, the best option for the old pair is to keep them as a back-up and/or relegate them to computer glasses. Because they are no longer useful at arm’s length, this makes them perfect across the longer distance for computer use.
So instead of trying to reuse your old frame or throwing out your old glasses, try them at the computer!
